Hyundai Motor, SK On to set up North America battery JV worth $4.9 bln
Hyundai Motor Co Group and SK On, a battery unit of SK Innovation Co Ltd , plan to set up a battery joint venture in North America, in an investment worth a combined 6.5 trillion won ($4.86 billion), the two companies said on Tuesday.
The investment will take place over 2023-2027, the companies said in regulatory filings.
