Social Capitalism - doing good while making a profit

It is doing good while making a profit. These two are not normally said or presented together.

Everyone can do good and everyone can make a profit. Doing it together is and can be a challenge.

We are proud of what we are doing and focusing on. We are making a difference and yes making a profit and with these profits giving back.

Human capital and YOUR time is the most important thing YOU have. So use it. To volunteer, give back, but more than that, research and do due diligence where you work. You will spend more time at work than you will with your family.

So……be selective….be picky and believe in what you are doing. If you are passionate, if you believe and if you are excited and motivated, it will be contagious and the money and success will follow.

Find how to profit, consult or do it for a fee (this is ok). If you can’t, then volunteer to make a difference. In your business, make a difference with your passion and use your profits and gains for good. We need more companies and people like this and I am a proud member and advocate of this.

I try to make a difference every day. I do things that no one would try and I do very well. I select charities and groups to give back with my time, expertise, my business and money.

If capitalism didn’t matter, you wouldn’t be working nor doing what you are doing now.

So do what you want and get paid for it and getting paid well is okay too, if you are providing that great service or solution. You can do the same for good or bad. For free or for a profit. So do both!

Make a social difference, be a capitalist and make a difference. Governments around the world are cutting budgets so it is important that business leaders step up to make a difference by funding humanitarian projects they care about.
