How Waste to Energy Contributes to Resource and Energy Efficiency
How does Waste-to-Energy contribute to Resource and Energy Efficiency?
In order to answer the question, and to present an integrated approach to waste management, the Confederation of European Waste-to-Energy Plants (CEWEP) recently organised a Fact-finding Visit to Indaver N.V.’s waste management facilities in Flanders.
The trip included a visit to a recycling plant in Willebroek, a green waste composting plant as well as a Waste-to-Energy plant and ash treatment facility.
Presentations given during the Fact-finding Visit, including from Ella Stengler CEWEP’s managing director can be found here.
