UN Hypocrites Bulldoze Thousands of Acres of Amazon Rainforest for Climate Change Summit

You Can’t Make This Up: UN Hypocrites Bulldoze Thousands of Acres of Amazon Rainforest for Four-Lane Highway to Climate Change Summit

In a shocking display of hypocrisy, the United Nations has bulldozed thousands of acres of the Amazon rainforest to construct a four-lane highway leading to a global climate change summit.

While world leaders gather to discuss carbon reduction and sustainability, their actions directly contradict their rhetoric, leaving behind a trail of deforestation and environmental destruction. This article exposes the actual cost of the UN’s hypocrisy, revealing how climate policies are often nothing more than greenwashed political theater.

Why let protecting the Amazon rainforest get in the way of “environmental” activism?

In the lead-up to the COP30 climate summit in Belém, Brazil, a new four-lane highway is cutting through tens of thousands of acres of protected Amazon rainforest.

The event, to be held in November, is expected to host more than 50,000, including world leaders and high-profile activists who will indeed fly on private jets and traverse a road that has been scarred into the pristine landscape. It’s disgusting — the WEF has no shame.

Further, this level of idiocy reinforces hypocrisy and the lies these political elites spew out of their filthy mouths every time they open it while grandstanding and gaslighting humanity — if climate change is what they say it is — then WTF? Clearly, it is not, given their behavior — these people make us sick, literally.

BBC reports:

The state government touts the highway’s “sustainable” credentials, but some locals and conservationists are outraged at the environmental impact.

The Amazon plays a vital role in absorbing carbon for the world and providing biodiversity, and many say this deforestation contradicts the very purpose of a climate summit.

Along the partially built road, lush rainforest towers on either side – a reminder of what was once there. Logs are piled high in the cleared land, which stretches more than 13km (8 miles) and goes through the rainforest into Belém.
Diggers and machines carve through the forest floor, paving over wetlands to surface the road, which will cut through a protected area.

A local resident, Claudio Verequete, told the BBC that he used to earn his living from harvesting berries from the trees that used to be there.

“Everything was destroyed,” he said. “Our harvest has already been cut down. We no longer have that income to support our family.”

Adler Silveira, the state government’s infrastructure secretary, listed this highway as one of 30 projects happening in the city to “prepare” and “modernize” it.

Silveira added that it would provide “a legacy for the population and, more importantly, serve people for COP30 in the best possible way.”

Expose the Truth & Demand Accountability

The UN’s Climate Hypocrisy Must Be Stopped!

While global leaders preach sustainability, their actions prove otherwise. Destroying the Amazon rainforest—the planet’s most critical carbon sink—for a climate summit is beyond hypocrisy; it’s an outright scandal.

What Can You Do?

Share this article – Spread awareness and demand accountability from global leaders.

Expose the greenwashing – Call out the hypocrisy of corporate-backed environmentalism and political deception.

Support genuine sustainability efforts – Invest in circular economy solutions and genuine emissions reductions.

Hold world leaders responsible – Challenge empty promises with real environmental action.

✅ Defund the United Nations – The UN is nothing but another super elite slush fund so they can fly around, pat each on the ass while eating stake, and tell us we should eat bugs!
