A Spanish rubber group has secured two Environmental Product Declarations for recycled rubber products, giving construction and infrastructure buyers verified life-cycle impact data.
Certified Transparency for Recovered Rubber
The declarations, certified under an international EPD programme in line with recognised product standards, cover two solutions: rubber granulate made entirely from end-of-life tyres, and an elastomeric mat developed for resilient elements in railway infrastructure. Both provide objective information on environmental impact across the product life cycle.
Made 100% From End-of-Life Tyres
The rubber granulate is produced at a plant in Alicante from end-of-life tyres, giving recovered rubber new applications in sports equipment and surfaces, safety flooring, construction and civil engineering, bituminous mixtures and acoustic absorption. The railway mat is developed and manufactured by a technical rubber division for the infrastructure sector.
