Aliapur and Infiniteria Sign Tire Supply MoU for Two French Plants

Tire Recycling

A French end-of-life tire collector and a European recycling developer have locked in the feedstock framework for two new plants, another sign that secure tire supply is becoming the gateway to recycling capacity.

Aliapur, the eco-organisation approved by the French State to manage end-of-life tire collection, signed a memorandum of understanding with Infiniteria Europe on 15 October 2026 to work towards a long-term supply agreement for two recycling plants Infiniteria plans to build in France.

Feedstock First

The MoU establishes a framework for a secure, reliable and sustainable long-term supply chain, under which Aliapur would provide the end-of-life tires both facilities need to run. Shortlisted sites are being assessed with environmental impact studies ongoing.

Infiniteria, the joint venture backed by Michelin and infrastructure investor Antin, is building out a European tire recycling network. Securing feedstock before construction is exactly how a recycling project becomes bankable: no secured supply, no finance, no plant.

What the Deal Signals

A dedicated supply agreement moving to signed-MoU stage confirms that European tire recycling has reached the point where feedstock, not technology, is the binding constraint on new capacity. Collectors want long-term offtake, and developers want assurance their plant will never run dry.

For anyone entering the same market, the lesson is explicit: lining up the tire supply is now a prerequisite to lining up the project.

Secure Feedstock and Build the Plant

Klean Industries solves both halves of that equation. We deliver tire pyrolysis and recovered carbon black facilities on a performance-guaranteed turnkey basis with KBR, and our project development starts with the feedstock and offtake study that makes a plant financeable before anything is poured.

Proof comes from commercial references across Europe and beyond, among them tire pyrolysis projects in Germany, Austria, Italy and Greece, and the commercial recovered carbon black plant in Poland.

License the technology and run it yourself, or have KBR build it turnkey. A feasibility study on your tire supply, product offtake and site is the first step to a bankable project.
