Vancouver, Canada—Klean Industries Inc. (“KI”) is pleased to announce today that Blair Falahey has safely reached the summit of Mt. Everest at approximately 7 a.m. on May 18th. Blair summitted Everest and stood atop the world, if only for 40 minutes or so.

The attached photo shows Blair with prayer flags in hand. A German trekker gave them to him on top of Gokyo-ri in mid-April this year, and Blair was asked to take them to the summit, which he was lucky enough to do.

The view from the top of the world is of Makalu (8467m), the world’s 5th highest mountain. Blair plans to have this photo enlarged and printed and put on his wall at home and in the office as a reminder of what can be done when you plan and focus on achieving goals. People included in the photo are in the orange Karma Sherpa (his second summit of Everest), and in the black is Pasang Nuru Sherpa (his first summit of Everest); this was an extremely special moment for all climbers.
