A European tire recycling operator is offering two used Salvadori Twin Batch 40 high-performance twin batch mixers for precise dosing and homogeneous blending of rubber granulate with binders, pigments and additives.
Dual Chamber Precision
Each unit features an independent left and right dosing and mixing system, delivering accurate, balanced and highly repeatable batch preparation. Separate controlled dosing handles isocyanate, pigments, catalysts and water, all with weight-controlled precision for maximum consistency across every batch.
Integrated Weighing And Control
The systems carry load cells for precise granulate dosing, automated recipe management, PLC control and RFID-enabled recipe selection. A paddle mixer running at 140 rpm uses variable speed control via an inverter, a Teflon-coated interior to prevent material adhesion, and an electrically controlled discharge valve for precise release.
Specifications
Targeting recycled rubber granulate from 0.8 to 4.0 mm, each mixer holds up to two 50 kg chambers for a 100 kg combined batch, with a 4–6 minute cycle time and output of roughly 1,200 kg per hour. The pair is rated at 40 kW on a 400V/50Hz supply with 8–10 bar compressed air and an IP54 protection class, offered together at EUR 82,000.

Manufactured in 2023 in excellent condition with minimal use, the systems suit colored rubber granulate production, sports surfaces, safety tiles, rubber boards and industrial flooring. The manufacturer’s demo shows the mixer handling from 5 kg to 90 kg per batch in about four minutes, with recipes recalled by PIN code or RFID tag.
