Giti Leads Tire Brand Value Growth in Latest Ranking

Tire Brand Ranking

Michelin remains the world’s most valuable tyre brand for a ninth consecutive year, while Giti posts the fastest growth and China’s Sailun closes in, according to the new Brand Finance Tyres 25 2026 report.

Most Valuable Brand

Michelin has held the top spot in the tire brand ranking for nine straight years, its brand value climbing 17% to USD10.3 billion and crossing the ten-billion-dollar mark. The report, published in June 2026, ranks the world’s leading tyre brands by brand value. Bridgestone stays the world’s second most valuable tyre brand, rising 6% to USD8.8 billion, while Continental holds third place at USD3.9 billion. Brand Finance ranks Michelin as the world’s most valuable and strongest tyre brand. The result also made Michelin the strongest French brand, lifting it into the world’s top ten strongest brands across all sectors for the first time.

Fastest Growers

Giti is the fastest-growing tyre brand of 2026, lifting its brand value 38% to USD1.5 billion and ranking eighth among the world’s most valuable tire brands. China’s Sailun follows close behind, climbing 37% and surpassing the USD1 billion brand value milestone for the first time, ranking tenth among the world’s most valuable tyre brands and cementing its position as the most valuable Chinese tyre brand globally. Apollo Tyres recorded the largest improvement in brand strength among the world’s top tyre brands.

A Strengthening Sector

Together, the world’s 25 leading tyre brands are now worth a combined USD42.3 billion, up 9% year on year, despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain disruption and intensifying competition across the sector. Brand Finance, the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy, unveiled the findings at The Tire Cologne trade fair, where it highlighted the rising influence of challenger brands.

Why the Ranking Matters

The assessment tracks brand value across the global tire industry, capturing how manufacturers strengthen their market positions and the recognition they earn among consumers, automakers and business partners. For the fastest movers, the gains signal rising awareness of names that sit outside the sector’s traditional top tier, a shift with long-term implications for how the industry’s leaders are defined.

What Happens When Those Tires Retire
