High-Capacity Secondary Shredder Set for Debut at IFAT India 2026
Secondary Tire Shredder
Fornnax Technology will showcase its R-MAX3300 secondary tire shredder at IFAT India 2026, positioning the high-capacity machine for end-of-life tires and other demanding waste streams.
A Machine Built For Throughput
Fornnax describes the R-MAX3300 as the world’s biggest secondary and fine shredder, engineered for high-capacity alternative fuel and raw material pre-processing. The single-shaft machine carries a 3,300 mm rotor length and 1,145 mm rotor diameter, processing 30 to 70 tonnes per hour depending on input material and screen size, with a power range of 430 to 540 HP and an internal screen with hole sizes up to 50 mm.
Consistent Output For Fuel And Recovery
The shredder is designed to produce a consistent 50–80 mm output for cement and waste-to-energy applications. Its listed applications extend beyond end-of-life tires to municipal solid waste, e-waste and cable waste, supporting alternative fuel and raw material preparation across high-volume operations.
Built For Demanding Feedstock
Secondary shredding must handle abrasive and variable material while holding output size steady. Fornnax highlights heavy-duty replaceable wear-and-tear parts and local spare-part availability as factors that help operators cut downtime and control maintenance cost over long run times.
IFAT India 2026 Showcase
The machine will be presented at Booth B001 in Hall 3 during IFAT India 2026, running September 9–11 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, where visitors can consult its technical team on adapting the shredder to specific streams. The appearance follows the R-MAX3300’s earlier launch at IFAT India 2025 and reflects Fornnax’s growing presence across Europe, Australia, the GCC and Asian markets.
Consultations And Market Trends
Beyond the machine itself, Fornnax says visitors will be able to discuss global recycling trends, changing material streams and processing requirements with its technical team, and evaluate upgrades to existing lines. The company positions IFAT India as a chance for operators to assess new equipment and improve processing performance across tire recycling, RDF production and municipal solid waste handling.
