Certified Circular Supply Chains

Gravita has announced its recycling plants in Ghana, Togo and Senegal have been awarded ISCC PLUS and ISCC EU certification.

These certifications confirm that the plants meet international standards for sustainability, traceability and greenhouse gas reporting. They also enable Gravita to supply certified recycled products to regulated markets, particularly in Europe.

Gravita’s Romania plant already holds ISCC PLUS and ISCC EU certifications and is serving the European market. With the addition of the three African facilities, Gravita has further strengthened its certified presence across Europe and Africa.

The company supplies pyrolysis oil, recovered carbon black, rubber compound powder and rubber compound sheets.

The Romania facility caters to European customers, while pyrolysis oil and carbon black from the African plants will support demand across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

In a statement Gravita stated the certifications enhance supply chain transparency and help customers meet their sustainability and compliance requirements. Gravita remains focused on responsible recycling and on providing certified recycled materials to global markets.

The company will continue to pursue global certifications across its recycling facilities to strengthen compliance, improve market access and support customers transitioning to certified sustainable raw materials.
