Klean Industries’ chemical recycling (“Chemcycling”) and resource recovery facilities along with customer’s and partners’ facilities all aim to achieve certifications that meet the world’s most robust sustainability standards for the circular and bio-based economy.
Each facility acquires an independent Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) certification when and where possible, demonstrating its important role in the circular economy by transforming end-of-life petroleum-based products into recycled oils and chemicals that can be used to make virgin-quality chemical products such as new plastics, new tires, and new carbon blacks.
RSB certification on its own merits illustrates a further step in the commitment to reducing the depletion of fossil resources and recycling end-of-life petroleum-based products that would otherwise be destined for landfill or incineration.
